We use Raman
spectroscopy to study phonon intensities as a function of light polarization and
magnetic field. The investigated system is the chiral Weyl semimetal PdGa. PdGa
has chirally ordered Pd and Ga atoms along the c-axis, forming a helix with a
distinct handedness. We observed a unique phonon effect with twisted light on
specific modes of PdGa depending on the direction of the magnetic field and the
handedness of the incident light.
